Blog Worthy?
I haven’t blog in a bit; I haven’t really felt that much has happened that is blog worthy.
Then just a bit ago I got to thinking…dangerous, I know….but anyway, I got to thinking. What is truly blog worthy? Does it always have to be something profound or really cute? Does it have to be thought provoking or whimisical?
I don’t think so. Here is my maybe, maybe not blog worthy entry.
Today started out a terrible, horrible, rotten, no good, very bad day. I didn’t want to go to Australia but somewhere away from home would have been nice. At least, that is what my pregnancy hormones were telling me. But God had other plans.
What was scheduled for today had to be changed. I was not happy. But! God has blessed me with a dear, dear friend who was so willing to help me get my focus right. To remind me of what was really important. So I adjusted the plan!!
The kiddos and I loaded up the van and headed out on this hot, humid, icky day. Ugh! We went to a not super Wal-mart where there were 4 or 5 cashiers waiting for a customer to check out. Wowsers!! It was a not super Wal-mart that wasn’t crowded or noisy. Ahhhhhhhh!
Then off for lunch. I was craving a Chick Fil A lemonade so we headed that way. It was 12:05 pm so everyone and their cousin third removed was there eating lunch. We went through the drive thru. Eat in the van? Nope. Headed down the road to our lovely, small library. They have a delightful picnic shelter down a little path behind the library. Ah, shade. A nice cool breeze. And mom, was that a bear??? Hee hee, imaginations are a good thing, right?
After a lovely lunch, we headed to the library to find a book or two or ten to enjoy. As always, Lydia made a friend. She is so much like her daddy! Finally, time to head home. Hannah told me. She laid down in the middle of the floor as if to say, “I’m done”. Great communication skills.
So we came home, enjoyed a nice cold treat. Ok the kiddos did. I enjoyed a chocolate treat. Yum!
Now on to deciding on dinner and laundry and whatever else comes up!

So glad it turned out to be a good day! Chick-fil-a lemonade is the best…maybe we can sneak out for a treat when you visit!
