In honor of having a clean home…..
and no school, I decided to have a sew-a-thon. Ok, so between 10 and 2 I only made one dress that is still a sew-a-thon in my book. I’m not done. I am getting ready to go cut out another dress in just a bit. I did have to feed Sarah Michal! Now back off. (giggle)
Hmmm, a dress. So that knocks the boy out of having a new outfit. 4 girls. Wonder who got a new dress today?????
Lydia was so excited to find that I was making her a dress. She gets all the girls’ older clothes and dresses from the store can still be purchased for her. That means that most of my energy on sewing is spent on the older girls. Tsk, tsk, mommy had to fix that! Wanted my little punkin head to feel special even if I couldn’t make a pumpkin dress. And I think she did. She could hardly contain herself.
I, and my very low sewing skill self, decided to do a little applique’. Not perfect but she did not inspect closely, hee hee. I will be making some bloomers out of the white material. She is still working on sitting ladylike on the floor.
And it has excellent twirl factor and she couldn’t wait to show daddy.
Ok, so I need to get away from this computer and back to my sewing machine. I have a couple other girls that are pacing.

one dress –4 hours that is great!!!I love that her hair has as much twirl factor as her dress!!!
Adorable girl and cute dress. I’m amazed you got that done in 4 hours. Even simple sewing takes me forever.
