Keeping little hands busy…
Some days can be a challenge to focus the older ones on school when the littles are running around screaming and plotting to take over the school supplies. What is a mom to do? Get those little hands busy!!!
This past week, Hannah has been learning about the letter C. A nice small tub of playdough, mat to mark the area and letter/numbers printed and in a photo sleeve all make a lovely hands-on activity. She loved sitting in mommy’s command central chair. I loved that she cleaned up her own mess. She was the envy of the big kiddos who were stuck doing math.
The above was my view from the table a little later in the morning. Sarah happily played with her baby and play food for over an hour! Hannah rotated in and out as she was doing her “school work” . Cute? I think so!
They had a picnic, sang some songs, did their hair and went on a trip. They are little buddies.
Now tomorrow, they may be back to plotting the takeover of the school supplies. I’ll be prepared. For now, I’m going to enjoy the memories of today.
I cannot believe how much Hannah looks like Mary. It is unreal! They are both adorable!
