The Big Sis
Sometimes people are very concerned about my children. Concerned that my younger ones feel displaced when a new baby comes into the family. There are questions about jealously, behavior issues and little ones have to “grow up too fast”. I always try to reassure those people that my children love having a new brother or sister. Folks, I’m not lying. From the time I wake up until I tuck them all in at night, one of my kiddos is begging to hold Sam.
Sarah adores Sam. She is a great big sis! She takes her job very seriously.

She patiently explains things to him and he intensely listens to her wisdom.

He finds her methods of teaching quite funny.

She really loves being the big sis. I hope she explains to him what happens when you break your fall on a brick porch. Ouch.

Our thinking can be so messed up sometimes. Look at the love, folks. I think these two are going to give me lots of fun trouble.

What sweet photos!!! My children have always loved having a new litte one around too! They would love to have another one but God hasn’t blessed us with one yet.
I can see you enjoy your precious children!
Blessings

what? No post about YOUR Big Sis? LOL I taught you a lot too! For example…not to always do what others tell you to do because they may not have your best interest at heart. Hince the toy box incident. I know my methods may have been harsh…but it worked right? LOL
Riiiiight. Thanks?
it’s true…I knew you were buck tooth, pigeon toed, cross eyed and i knew you would get picked on a lot when i wasn’t around and i was trying to make you tough…honest.
You know, I love those babies!
Thanks for more pictures….Sam is growing so fast! What a beautiful family!
