The Monday Cleverly Disguised as a Wednesday

Ok. It was a Wednesday.It was not a Monday sneaking around waiting to knock us down.

It was a day where we overslept, missed a nap, forgot the diaper bag, and really should have washed one more load of  laundry. It was the day of climbing bookshelves, potty accidents, and math struggles.

This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

It happens. Sometimes it is a Monday, now and then a Wednesday, and even on rare occasions, Fridays go completely crazy. And so we push through. We still laugh and talk around the dinner table. We read a book or two before bed. We update the to do list for tomorrow. We run a last minute load of laundry. And we rejoice that the chicken didn’t burn. Hey, I even had leftovers. People, that is a rare happening!

Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His,
And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.
For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning.

Psalm 30: 4-6

I also was able to take photos of the cutest bunch of homeschoolers around. Let’s just overlook the whole stepping into an ant hill incident. Ahem.
