For some time, we have been discussing finding a hair stylist and getting haircuts. Eddie usually takes care of Caleb and himself. I will, when forced, trim the girls’ hair but nothing but a tiny, tiny trim.
Saturday was the day. We were discussing how much to trim from the girls’ hair. An inch or two became mid-back. Mid-back became donation to Lock of Love.
Deep breath, mommy. Mary has never had her hair cut more than a trim. Well, unless you count the numerous times as a toddler she did her own hair styling. This was harder on me than I thought it would be, babycakes. I, seriously, tried to talk her out of it. I failed.
She is thrilled. She can finally brush her own hair, style her own hair and wash her own hair. It was down to her patootie which made this all hard on an 8yr old. Now I can’t keep the brush out of her hands. So, take a seat please……introducing……the new Mary!!! (clicking on pic will make it larger)

Wow! She looks just lovely and the boppy on her head is quite the accessory.
love it!!!
I’ve been WAITING for this post. I’m very proud of myself for not begging for it in the comments section of another post. The girls look great, and can tell that they love their new dos.
Ohhh… I love this hair cut! It looks CUTE!thanks for sharing
