Birthday Girl is revealed
Rebekah turned 12 on January 31st. I could not be more blessed with a child. She is my right hand and I am lost when she is not around. I blinked and she turned into a young lady.
Bekah is not a fan of having her picture taken so I only snapped a few. Difficult child! However she has excellent taste and she wanted this in place of a birthday cake:
Chocolate chip cookie. She has learned well in her 12 years.
We do not have big celebrations; a simple family “party”. I take requests from the birthday kiddo and serve the meals she/he requests. If they have requests for certain activities I try to accommodate but it just depends. Her requests? A normal day except she did not want kitchen duty and she wanted a bit of extra reading time. Done.
Everyone was thrilled to have her back in the kitchen the next day.
