Not a Box!!!!

One of the current favorite books in our home is Not a Box by Antoinette Portis. We also love her book, Not a Stick. Not a Box is a simple book with pencil drawings of a rabbit and a box. Such the Gentleman….

Even at a young age, I believe it is possible for a boy to behave as a gentleman. The young lad may be too small to carry in your groceries, hold the door for Grandma or grab an out of reach item for his sister. The room was suddenly too quiet….

We were in the midst of math, phonics and science experiments. I realized that my little people were quiet. And they weren’t sleeping. This is not always a good thing. I found them.
