Field trip or vacation???

The beauty of homeschool is that we can count it as both, right? This past weekend we had a lovely two days at Tryon Palace. Twice a year, Tryon Palace, offers Homeschool Days with special hands-on activities. The children were excited and had a wonderful time. As if turning 6 wasn’t enough…

She had to go and lose a tooth this weekend.     I told her that was enough growing up. Stop it right now. And she showed me how the other bottom front tooth is ready to fall out. Sigh. Kiddos. They just keep growing up on me. read more

Just because they are too cute for words…

  We were at a Civil War Reenactment and their response to the gunfire was the same.
