Happy Friday!ย Here’s a few random thoughts from this past week….
1 -This has been the week of the pointless to do list. I don’t think we have had one day that was even close to the plan. There is always next week, right?
2 – Our long December break should have included math. Especially Algebra. Serious brain cramps have occurred this week as the brains have tried to transition back to mathematical skills. We are very thankful for chocolate.
3 – Having a menu plan this week has been a huge blessing.
4 – I love finding surprise pictures on my refrigerator. This one popped up this week.
5 – My husband is the best. He never hesitates to swing by the library and pick up books on hold for me. This week he went to pick up books and left three behind. Without a word,ย he went back the same evening to get those books. Yep. He’s the best.
I’d love to hear your Random 5!
That is some serious art talent! And that was indeed very kind of your hubby! ๐

2. I’ve picked my 2014 word, โTrust.โ
3. My house is a mess right now.
4. My 11th baby just got her first tooth.
5. I’m much less stressed out now that we’ve started unschooling, versus homeschooling.

First off, what a really good drawing on your refrigerator! Your daughter (I assume) is very talented! Also, I agree, chocolate will cure almost anything (LOL)! Secondly, you know the old saying “the best laid plans of mice and men…” I must have half a dozen of various “to do” lists. But I keep working at it and things are getting done now that the holidays are over. So great post, I can really relate!

What a beautiful drawing that was left for you. Aren’t those the best gifts as a mother ๐ Menu planning has been a lifesaver for me. It really keeps me on track with not only making sure meals are prepared but it helps in the cost at the grocery store. (not overspending). Thanks for stopping by my blog!!!
